He then later began his music career at age 13. Presh P has evolved over the years into a remarkable songwriter, vocalist, poet, choreographer and dancer, with his unique style; a diverse blend of R&B mixed with scorching Hip-Hop flavor. No wonder when ‘The Lagos State Government Agricultural Development Programme’ were on the lookout for an artiste to do their jingle he was the one that was recommended for the job. He was also was in the Lil’ B TV contest, ‘the Open Mic’ wher he came 2nd, some years ago.

The Ebonyi State indigene, formally known as Precious Uche Okorie, who is the second born in a family of six and currently an undergraduate of Business Administration in Lagos State University, distinguishes himself as a force to be reckoned with in the Nigerian music industry and in his own words, “Music is the love of my life. I simply love the art of music. It’s my escape, my comfort zone and I want to give that to someone else out there”.

Now he is gleaming in the manifestation of a management deal with Simply Management owned by Eki B. Izevbigie; a fast-rising entertainment company based in the United Kingdom, “they’re currently packaging the album, which is definitely going to be a hit in the streets as well as the urban society.”

Presh P is undeniably on the sweet path to the zenith of his game. He’s been featured on some song done by fellow artists in his hood as he does catchy hooks he unleashes to their songs with his back up vocals.

He started studio recording with GAF studios under Xblaze, “I met Xblaze in GAF studios in the year 2006; I was the first artist to work in the studio, and then came along Base One, DJ Sulexzy Kilo and Kidpresh. He did all of my tracks, and I’m currently working on my album. I’ve got 3 singles out: ‘Make Me High’ which’s R&B-Hip-hop where he featured Base One, which is in the streets and available for download in the Internet, it’s the ladies favorite, while ‘Ifadigomma’ and ‘Etelemi’ which are kind of street anthems in the underground.”

He is an innovative artiste who has a unique voice that gets you going, his melody is so catching and as well as his good looks make him an artiste that one would love to meet.

Responding to what he thinks about the music industry, he said, “The industry is strong now with acts like Tuface Idibia, D’banj, Wande Coal, Banky W, P-Square and a host of others have made our music cross over to different parts of the world where we imagined it’ll never have gotten to. The other day on Youtube, I saw a Korean girl dancing ‘Alanta’ to ‘Implication’ by Tuface. I see the industry as a stronghold for our economy whereby youths showcase their talents to better their lives and hope to make historic impact in the industry.”

Furthermore, he made it clear on the artists he’d love to work with were Tuface, Davido, Wizkid, Mo’Cheddah, Wande Coal, and Waje because of her vocals. “My main aim is for everyone to accept me with big arms into the music industry, and I pray that very soon my name also would be a household name in the industry.”
