The Arrival of Ibiyemi’s Little Bundle and New Video

December has always been a month of celebration and surprises, and Soul Singer, Ibiyemi [Ibiyemi Ajakaiye] has double reasons to be ecstatic this month.

After what may have seemed a long wait, Ibiyemi finally releases the video to her 80s style up-tempo track, Play, alongside news of the arrival of her little bundle of joy.

The fine vocalist, who has earned a devoted fan base courtesy singles such as Can You Love Me?’, ‘It Could Be’ [Feat. Dipo], and smash hits Don’t Leave Me’ and Ore’, delivered a baby boy yesterday, Sunday the 23rd of December, 2012 in America. Both mother and child are doing well.

Ibiyemi who took some time off work to concentrate on the arrival of her baby is glad to finally release the Play video to her fans. According to her “I am very excited about the next chapter of my life, both personally and professionally. Thanks to all the devoted fans who kept tweeting and sending messages asking about the video. I appreciate your patience.  It’s here!”

Play was directed by the talented Tosin Igho for IGH Films.
