M.I writes on the Rick Ross 'Hold Me Back' video shot in Nigeria

M.I
See what the rapper wrote on his website below and tell us what you think...
Does it make you angry? Does it rile you to see your country portrayed as poor and suffering and full of struggle? It burns you, does it not? To have some foreigner- who knows nothing of your history and pain, of the stories that flow within your blood- to have this foreigner come in and tell your story? Is it not the height of disrespect and insensitivity? Does it not chafe against the thick skin you have grown to cover your other wounds?

Rick Ross in Nigeria
Does it not make you angry? We should wax sanctimonious about national pride being slighted. We should vent our displeasure online. We should occupy something. Because God forbid the truth ever be told about what things really are. God forbid a stranger reminds us about those things we choose to ignore every day.
God forbid we ever face the truth about ourselves. God forbid we do not go on the internet and rail about how our country is being cast in bad light. God forbid we do not talk about how there is a small minority which lives better than portrayed. God forbid we do not ignore truth one more time. God forbid we don’t.

Meet Linda, Charly Boy's Alter Ego

This time around, the "AREAFADA" has revealed his alter ego whom he calls Linda. Proudly describing his alter ego as a good and virtuous woman, he gives an insight on Linda’s persona.
Diane & Linda

“This is not me! This is not Charlyboy! This is Linda. Linda is my Sister. She is a very good woman, and can be so nice to you if you get close. Have you met Linda before? No, you just saw Linda some few minutes ago, but you do not know her. If you know Linda, you will hate Charlyboy. Yes, you will continue to hang around Linda.” He said.
Does that sound weird enough? Wait till you read his shocking revelation in a church sometime last month in Abuja where he gave the difference between Charles Oputa, Charlyboy and Linda.
Stressing that Charles Oputa is that responsible family man, with eight children and 12 grand children. Charlyboy, he said is never allowed to Mr. Charles Oputa’s house, referring to Charlyboy as a creation and a character.
According to Charlyboy, there is a woman in him whose name is Linda. It is that Linda that wears make-ups.  He said that Linda directs him on how to be compassionate like women. He stated that Linda was responsible for all the humanitarian works he had done over the years. According to him, without Linda, he couldn’t have done all that.  “Linda was created to have to be compassionate like a woman” he asserted.

"Wizkid's my brother" – Davido denies on-going war

Wizkid & Davido
Davido has responded to the controversial news about a row between him and Wizkid.

In a video interview with AMC Nigeria, the 19-year-old pop singer reacted to the question asked about his relationship with 22-year-old Wizzy.
He responded;

"Wizkid is my friend, Wizkid is my n***a, Wizkid is my brother. There’s nothing wrong at all. We are young n****as making money, that’s all."

A few weeks ago, most blogs and music websites reported that there was tension between both camps, citing instances and scenarios that led to the falling out, most notably when Davido and his HKN crew walked out of the NEAs 2012 while Wizkid was performing.

There has been no word from Wizkid or the EME yet.
